Rookie Mini-Camp

Want to feel old in a hurry? Spend a summer afternoon watching 18-22 year olds skating around like waterbugs on a pond!! The first day of on-ice drills saw the rookies familiarizing themselves with typical Caps' drills, courtesy of Mssrs. Hunter and (newly-shorn) Army. The bad part for me was that I could only recognize a handful on sight--the rest I basically had no clue who was who! Even after looking at roster photos I had trouble figuring it out--but I think I got most of them eventually. But it was still great seeing these guys--looks like a pretty good bunch, and gives me hope for the future!
